A field of seven older horses will contest a $25,000 optional claiming race for non-winners of two other than going 6 furlongs as the DRF feature Race of the Day at Penn National.

In his first lifetime appearance at Penn National, The Sicarii, trained by Harold Wyner for John Fanelli, will open as a slight favorite at 2-1.

He was claimed at Saratoga after a fourth place finish for $25,000 four back. And has won two races since then for his current connections.

This will be a slight drop in class from his last two starts at Parx in $35,000 optional claiming company for NW2X.

Post time for the Race of the Day is scheduled for 8:16 PM ET and will go as race 6 race on the 8 race card.
