Dubai Key leads wide open ROD at Gulfstream

A field of nine older horses will contest a $62,000 optional claiming race for the lion’s share of the $62,000 purse, going 5 furlongs on turf as the DRF feature Race of the Day at Gulfstream Park.
In his first lifetime appearance at Gulfstream since arriving in the US from Chile, Dubai Key made every post a winning one when he took a 5 furlong sprint on the all-weather in November.
Trained by Amador Sanchez for Granadilla Stable, Dubai Key was sent to post wearing blinkers for the first time in his last start.
Post time for the Race of the Day is scheduled for 4:36 PM ET and will go as the final race of the day on the 9 race card at Gulfstream.
