Breeders’ Cup denies entry of 2-Year-Old Maiden 1st time starter

Best of the Rest Headlines

The Breeders’ Cup has denied the entry of the 2-year-old filly Heavenhasmynikki owned by Looch Racing Stables for not having started in a race.

Looch Racing’s Ron Paolucci, who won the 2013 Breeders’ Cup Fillies with Ria Antonia, posted a response to his social media account he received from the Breeders’ Cup that reads in part that when he pre-entered his filly online, he accepted the rules that the Breeders’ Cup may refuse an entry “for any reason” and “without limitation.”

Paolucci claimed “I’m ashamed of owning horses today…” and is threatening legal action.
