  1. King’s Plate: The iconic King’s Plate, the oldest horse race in North America, will take place on Saturday, August 17. This event marks the 165th running of the King’s Plate and serves as the launch of the 2024 Canadian Triple Crown.
  2. Triple Crown Races:
    • Prince of Wales Stakes: Scheduled for Tuesday, September 10, this race, with a purse of $400,000, will be held at Fort Erie Race Track.
    • Breeders’ Stakes: The final leg of the Triple Crown, the Breeders’ Stakes, will conclude on Sunday, September 29 at Woodbine.
  3. Woodbine Mile: On Saturday, September 14, Woodbine hosts its prestigious $1 million classics, including the Woodbine Mile. This Grade 1 turf event is part of the Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series.
