Eragon was the winner of the G1 Estrellas Mile on dirt in June in his native Argentina in a final time of 1:33.00 for the mile distance on dirt. Eragon is a three-time group 1-winning son of Offlee Wild (sire of BC Classic winner Bayern) who has run 20 times in his career reaching the winner’s circle 10 times.
He won his first Group 1 a little more than a year ago on his way to subsequent Group 1 wins in three more races including the most recent Gran Premio Hipodromo De Palermo going 1 mile when he carried top weight of 132 pounds when he closed to defeat Argentina’s top runners including Le Ken.
