2014 Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf

2014 Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf on Saturday November 1, 2014 is for 3 year old and older fillies and mares who can carry the weight going 1 and 1/4 mile over the turf course for a purse of $2 million.

Pre-entries for the $2 million 1 1/4 mile race for fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up turf event include Breeders’ Cup Challenge Winners Emollient, Fiesolana, and Stephanie’s Kitten.

This turf classic for females attracts the best of European and American runners each year and this year is no exception. Seventeen horses have been pre-entered including Chicquita for Aidan O’Brien, Dank for Sir Michael Stout, and Pegasus Farms L’Amour de Ma Vie trained by Pia Brandt.
