2015 Breeders’ Cup Post Times

2015 Breeders’ Cup Post Times
Saturday October 31, 2015

The 2015 Breeders’ Cup post times are listed in EDT and are subject to change as the races progress through the Friday and Saturday cards.

Breeders’ Cup Race Order

The table is set up to show the Breeders’ Cup races in reverse order with Saturday’s races appearing first.

The G1 $2 Million BC Juvenile Fillies scheduled for 12:05 pm EDT kicks things off on Saturday and will be followed by the G1 $2 Million BC Filly and Mare Turf at 1 3/16 miles.

Breeders’ Cup Classic Post Time

The $5 Million Breeders’ Cup Classic post time is set for 5:35pm EDT and will go as the last race of the 2015 Breeders’ Cup at Keeneland in Louisville, Kentucky.

In the past when Kentucky hosted back-to-back Breeders’ Cup events in 2010 and 2011 the Classic was run under the lights at Churchill Downs because of the late post time. Because the 2015 Breeders’ Cup will take place before daylight-saving time ends, Keeneland officials did not install temporary lights.

However, a rainy forecast would have the Classic run under a cover of darkness so late in the day in Lexington.

Time Between Races

As it stands today, there will be about 45 minutes between races giving bettors plenty of time to make their selections and get their bets in.
