Updated September 29, 2015. The Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series “Win and You’re In” races leading up to the Breeders’ Cup at Keeneland on October 30 – 31, 2015 includes the best in thoroughbred racing from around the world.

Stakes Races

The best stakes horses compete in the best stakes races making the list the premier horse races in the world. The winner of each of the Challenge races will be guaranteed a spot in the starting gate on Friday or Saturday at Keeneland. It’s that simple.

Each month The Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series features the world’s best thoroughbreds competing for a starting spot and a share of $28 million in purses and awards in the 2016 Breeders’ Cup World Championships to be held November 4 and 5, 2016 at Santa Anita Park located in beautiful Arcadia, California.
