The Pennsylvania Horse Racing Association and Penn National Race Course have announced that, due to forecasted inclement weather in the Grantville, PA area, the stakes races originally scheduled for June 20, 2025 on the turf have been rescheduled to June 27, 2025, with a first post time of 5:00 P.M.:

The affected races include the Grade 3 $400,000 Penn Mile Stakes, the $150,000 Penn Oaks, the $75,000 Lyphard Stakes, and the $75,000 Alphabet Soup Stakes.

This decision prioritizes the safety of horses, jockeys, and attendees, as adverse weather could impact the turf course conditions required for these prestigious races. The seven non-stakes races originally carded for June 20, 2025, will proceed as scheduled, with a first post time of 5:00 P.M.

Horses entered for the June 20 stakes races are automatically re-nominated for June 27. For more information and free past performances, visit TheFreePPs.com or the Pennsylvania Horse Racing Association’s official website.
